One Manufacturing Partner. Every Process You Need.

Most contract manufacturers specialize in one or two processes and outsource the rest. That creates handoff gaps, quality risk, and longer lead times. Meco takes the opposite approach: we provide 40+ manufacturing processes under one quality system, one project manager, and one accountable partner. From raw material to finished, packaged product delivered to your warehouse.

Our IATF 16949:2016 certified facilities in Thailand and China cover every major metal and plastic manufacturing process: five types of casting, hot and cold forging, CNC machining (3 to 5-axis), metal stamping, injection molding, welding, surface finishing, heat treatment, and full mechanical and electromechanical assembly. U.S.-based engineering support provides DFM analysis, tolerance review, and project oversight to American standards. Whether you need a single precision CNC machined prototype or a 10-million-unit die casting production run, every process below is available under one turnkey manufacturing workflow.

Manufacturing Capabilities FAQ

What manufacturing processes does Meco offer?

Meco provides 40+ in-house manufacturing processes including five types of casting (die casting, gravity, low pressure, sand, and investment), CNC machining (3 to 5-axis), hot and cold forging, metal stamping, laser cutting, CNC bending, four welding processes, plastic injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, surface finishing, heat treatment, and full mechanical and electromechanical assembly.

What materials can Meco work with?

Metals: aluminum (15+ alloys), carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, titanium, magnesium, zinc, and tungsten carbide. Plastics: ABS, PP, PE, PC, PA (Nylon), POM, PEEK, TPU, and 40+ additional resins. Material selection guidance is included with every DFM review.

What certifications does Meco hold?

IATF 16949:2016, the highest-tier automotive quality management standard, which incorporates all ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Quality processes include APQP, PPAP, SPC, PFMEA, FAIR, CMM inspection (±0.002 mm), and NDT (ultrasonic, dye penetrant, X-ray).

How do I choose the right manufacturing process?

Process selection depends on part geometry, material, tolerance requirements, production volume, and budget. Our engineering team recommends the optimal process with every quote. CNC machining is best for 1 to 1,000 parts, casting and stamping excel above 5,000 units, and forging delivers the highest strength for safety-critical components.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order quantity. Meco scales from 10-piece prototypes to 10-million-unit production runs using the same facilities and quality system.

What are Meco's lead times?

Prototype parts: 1-2 weeks. Tooling (molds, dies, fixtures): 3-6 weeks. Overall production lead time: 2-8 weeks. Quotes in under 24 hours with DFM feedback. Vertical integration reduces lead times by 30-50%.

Where are Meco's manufacturing facilities?

Production facilities in Thailand (20,000 m²) and China (16,000 m²). U.S.-based engineering support. Warehousing across North America (Ohio, Florida, Canada) and Asia (Japan, Thailand). Learn more about Meco.

Can Meco handle the full product lifecycle?

Yes. Meco's turnkey manufacturing covers R&D engineering, DFM analysis, prototyping, tooling, multi-process production, surface finishing, assembly, packaging, and global delivery through our warehousing and logistics network.

What file formats do you accept for quotes?

STEP (.stp) and IGES (.igs) for 3D models. PDF or DWG for 2D drawings with tolerances and GD&T callouts. Include material, volume, and finish requirements for the most accurate quote.
