As sheet metal stamping process, any single part can require multiple steps to arrive at its final form, including blanking, forming, drawing, piercing. With a series of operations, the metal can be altered from a relatively simple shape into a complex one.

● Meco Engineering Team Output a.DFM analysis with design proposals b.Engineering support c.3D model and 2D drawing; including tolerance definition, draft, radius recommendation for stamping d.Fit clearance, gap, and interference check (3D) e.Preliminary tooling layout presentation specifying punching direction, fillet radius for forming or drawing; subsequent discussion with customer team
● Production/tooling development cycle (30-40 Days)
● Trial Process a. Trial run on stamping machines b. Document trial parameters c. Share FAI (First Article Inspection) report with customers
● Tooling Modification and Validation a. Receive approval from customer on modifications; continue with validation process
